BUDAPEST, 30 May 2026 ♥️

Painted in Holloway while watching Arsenal play Paris St Germain in the Champions League Final, Budapest, 30 May 2026.

I live close to the Emirates. With Arsenal winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, everyone around here was celebrating.

Painting kept my nerves at bay during the match. The vivid green of the pitch, the energy of the players, all that colour and movement on the screen against the greys and mauves of the living room, brought together by our Arsenal scarf. The result was still unknown as I finished the painting just before the penalty shoot out. They came so close ♥️
