EXPERIENCE I: DOG BITE (2), July 2026
This is the second of two paintings responding to being bitten by a dog on a shaded path in an Islington park.
Where the first sets the scene, peaceful and disrupted from a distance, this one moves in close: the dog's jaw open, teeth bared, blood on the leg, against a hot acid-green ground.
Together the two paintings hold different registers of the same encounter, one distanced, one immediate.
