NOW WORKING AS AN ARTIST’S MODEL, July 2026

A classic Bell Canada rotary phone from the 1960s, back in service briefly when our landline broke, then retired again. Until I decided to paint it.

The checked tablecloth got me thinking of Hockney's tablecloth paintings at the Serpentine, which I saw last month. His paintings were loose and energetic and I tried to capture that spirit.
