Another 'cornered' still life painting which allows me more depth and composition. This one has two vases, two flowers and two backgrounds.

It took me some time to work out the composition so that the halves connected.

I went back to it, maybe the light had changed and a dried stem had moved - I kept discovering things I had missed.

It came together when I found the two ribbons of shadow that ran down the middle of the painting.
