ROSE GARDEN June 2025

My daughter, modelling for me while she sews in our summer garden. She is shortening her miniskirt  -  already short  -  a classic and practical teenage activity.
The roses around her speak to her youth and beauty. Their warm pinks pull through the ground and into her skin, a wave of warm colour moving across the painting.
