SLEEPING SOLDIER, September 2025

My work is produced in place, outside, inside, on the go in a car, train or plane. 

This was a chance encounter, a German soldier painted on the train from Neubrandenburg to Berlin.

Sleeping like a child, the image captures the contradiction between youthful innocence and the threat of war.
